Having the pleasure of visiting the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis again last week, I came upon a sculpture that I didn't see there before. It was in in polished black marble <?> and life sized. Wow.I was moved to tears and eventual sobbing. Being a mom made this even more painful to me. I'd seen pictures of it, like this one, but never one in person.
